What to Wear

I have found that this aspect of preparing for a session can induce anxiety so I am here to offer a few tips to help ensure a stress-free experience.

~ Wear colors that look good on you and enhance your skin tones and features. For couples this may mean you are in different colors, that’s okay! Patterned clothing helps tie two shades together if you have three or more people, or a pattern that is dominant in a color that looks good on you but hints of the color someone else in your picture is wearing.

~ You don’t want to blend into your surroundings so I suggest avoiding avoiding greens in a lushly green environment and muted earth tones in the desert.

~ If these are images you are hoping to hang in your house maybe wear colors that would match your home decor. I always include a few black and white images which looks good in every house but sometimes a great color image can make all the difference in a room.

I am always here to help if you need it so please don’t hesitate to ask!
