Werenskjold Newborn

October 1, 2015 Children, Families

I always feel so lucky that my clients allow me into their lives to capture a special moment in their lives. After shooting their maternity pictures I was super excited to meet this little girl! She was the sweetest, sleepiest little thing. I had a lot of fun posing this beautiful girl and capturing all the little details for her sweet parents!

Werenskjold Family

June 17, 2015 Couples

I am always excited to meet new clients so Amber and Traften were no exception! Like most El Paso summer evenings it’s hard to tell what the weather is going to be like around sunset, but we were blessed with no-rain storm clouds and a gorgeous explosion of sun from behind the mountain that lit up the passing clouds giving us a beautiful silhouette and the last image. I had so much fun photographing Amber and Traften; they were up for anything!Read More

Hull Family

March 26, 2014 Families

I feel so blessed that I met this family. Little Nate was born at 22 weeks I believe and overcame so many obstacles; he is truly a little miracle. He had just turned 1 year when I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing him and his incredible parents last November. To say I am in awe with Jennifer and Will’s strength and spirit is an understatement. Thank you for letting me capture these precious moments! <3

August 27, 2013 Film, My Life

So my husband’s uncle is an amazing photographer, like truly amazing(website | facebook). He took our wedding pictures and has taken images at various stages in our marriage that I just absolutely treasure. He’s been in the business for a while so he knows film very well… so well that he loaned me one of his beautiful film cameras. I call him George and he’s a Hasselblad. As you can see by the image, this is one bad boy camera!Read More

White Sands On Film

August 27, 2013 Film, My Life

On Memorial Day my hubby and daughter and I went to White Sands National Monument. I brought the Rolleiflex with me and snapped some shots on Portra 160. I love the range film has in terms of light because that sky was amazing and I’m so happy it wasn’t blown out in the pictures I took!
